The program, which offers free discount drug cards to California residents, was launched in October, 2007. Every resident of California is eligible to participate in the program. There are no restrictions to membership, no income requirements, no age limitations, no waiting periods, and there are no applications to fill out.

California Rx Card was launched to help the uninsured and underinsured residents of California afford their prescription medications.
